The word "motel" evokes images of Motel 6 and simply does not do this place justice. This is "Motel 11." Wonderful rooms very well outfitted. Great family-owned establishment.

What a pleasure to stay in this family owned and operated establishment. Charming room in cool town. Sonja and her daughter and son were so very warm and welcoming throughout our stay with fantastic service. Breakfast was delicious (make sure to try the crumpets) and get yourself some fish and chips and take a short walk to the beach to enjoy dinner with a view of the beach,  they have picnic tables there and cook driftwood art. The room was spacious and well appointed,  super comfortable and each room has its own thermostat. Would definitely make a beeline for Stopforths if I come back to Hokitika.

Just had a one day stay here. We stayed in winter , around the end of August. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and warm. The room also has a kitchenette and small fridge. I personally love the modern design of the room. Sleep quality was amazing. Highly recommended.

Clean large accommodation and seems recently renovated.

We were able to park outside, and you can do laundry by arrangement which was very clean and dry.

The bed was comfortable, but like most new Zealand hotels, I found the pillows too soft, I still had a great sleep.

Good water pressure in the shower, and very hot as well. The accommodation was very quiet

This motel is one of the best we've stayed in. Very clean with plenty of room. The large beds were very comfortable. Welcoming friendly hosts. Would highly recommend.
